A New Chapter Begins: Thank You for Your Support!

I am deeply honored to have been elected as your next board member for the Eastern Municipal Water District. This victory is not just mine, but ours—an outcome made possible by the trust and support from our community. I am committed to ensuring that our water resources are managed with care, transparency, and sustainability, and I am excited to work alongside our team to make our shared vision a reality.

I want to extend special thanks to all the volunteers and supporters who did everything from walking door to door and  putting signs in their yards to counting flyer so we could mail them.  I won’t name you all because would forget someone. Thank you all very much.  Lori Van Arsdale and Debradawn Shockey deserve special mention and thanks.  It would not have happened without you.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Corinne Awad. She ran a strong and respectful campaign, bringing important issues to the forefront. Her dedication to our community is commendable, and I look forward to collaborating with her and others to build a brighter future for us all.  I hope this experience does not discourage her.  She is truly a leader in the community and someone we should hope to see in elected office soon.
